This book was a long time in coming. It’s something I’d desired to write, and I knew I would have to be really thoughtful in how to approach the subject matter. As many of you know, it can be challenging to eat healthy in a cost effective way. The ‘powers that be’ have been very crafty in making unhealthy meal choices available and widespread for CHEAP; while fresh organic foods continue to be offered at a heftier price tag. The world and its ability to communicate has evolved and is getting faster and faster every day. The invention of fast food restaurants and microwavable meals has truly helped us in matching the speed of our current times, but what kind of nutrition, if any, are we getting from TV dinners and dollar menus filled with milk shakes, fries, desserts, low-grade meats, instant this and instant that? Why is the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) spending millions to supposedly protect us (society) from harmful foods and chemicals, yet more and more chemicals and inferior foods keep being added to the Standard American Diet? What is the real tradeoff for the miracle meals we consume on a continual basis?

In this book, I will be making suggestions for the various eating lifestyles (Raw, Vegan, Vegetarian and Meat Eating), and helping you to find balance with your food choices right where you are.
